    Descriptive info: ajankohtaista.. tapahtumat.. Sysi, Koksi, Hiili ja Kytö:.. Näyttelyni taustaa.. Muutettuani Joensuuhun kaksikymmentä vuotta sitten, sain työhuoneen Utran vanhalta koululta Pielisjoen rannasta.. Minua alkoi heti kiinnostaa joen olemus.. Veden pinta oli joka päivä eri näköinen, siihen kuvastui säätilojen muutos, valon suunta ja veden määrä.. Aloin tutkia veden olemusta maalaamalla vesivärimaalauksia.. Olen pikkupojasta asti harrastanut kalastusta, veneilyä ja vesien varrella liikkumista.. Minua kiinnostaa puhdas luonto, luonnon ilmiöt ja ihmisten luontoon tekemät jäljet.. Myös tilanne, jossa luonto valtaa takaisin ihmisen rakentamaa kulttuuria ja aika, joka hajottaa rakenteita ja rajoja, kiehtovat minua..  ...   olemusta.. Mutta luonto on minulle arvoitus, ja sen kokeminen ei ole vaistomaista.. Luonnon ja maiseman tulkinta taiteen keinoin on tästä syystä mielenkiintoista.. Jokikuvani olen rakentanut vesiväritekniikalla, jotta vesi olisi läsnä myös fyysisenä ilmaisun välineenä.. Rakennan kuvia omien mielenvirtojeni kautta, Tällöin yhdistelen erilaisia luonnoksia ja omia muistikuvia havainnoistani luonnossa ja vesiväripaperin pinnalta.. Usein ideat lähtevät tässä ja nyt kokemuksista, valo välähtää, vedessä loiskahtaa, aurinko menee pilven taa.. Tunnelman vangitseminen on minulle kuitenkin pitkäaikainen maalausprosessi.. Jos voisin olla viikon kalana tai sutena ehkä ymmärtäisin luontoa paremmin.. photo sini silvennoinen.. Ylös..

Jugendvivahteinen viihtyisä puutalo on alunperin rakennettu Klassisen Lyseon voimistelusaliksi 1911.. Rakennuksessa on säilytetty sen vanha olemus, kuten esim.. puulattiat.. Suuret ikkunat antavat kuusi metriä korkeisiin saleihin kauniin, epäsuoran valon.. Taidekeskus ahjossa on kaksi salia, Sysi ja Koksi, lisäksi on kaksi tilaa, Hiili ja Kytö.. Suurin sali on Sysi on 163 m.. 2.. , Koksi on 56 m.. , Hiili on 20 m.. 2.. ja Kytö on 22,5 m.. Seinien väri on taitettu valkoinen, pintamateriaali on lasikuitutapetti ja pohja kipsilevyä.. Sysi- ja Koksi-salin seinät on uudistettu tammikuussa 2012.. Näyttelytilojen vuokrat 2012.. Tila.. Koko.. Vuokra.. Vuokra (jäsenyhdistyksen jäsenille).. Sysi-sali.. (163 m ).. 1130,00 /3vko.. 1080,00 /3vko.. Koksi-sali..  ...   kokoisia pyörillä liikkuvia.. seinäkkeitä.. Niillä voidaan muunnella tilaa, esim.. muodostaa pienempiä, intiimimpiä tiloja.. voimavirta 16 / 32 A.. jalustoja, joiden runko on mustaksi polttomaalattua terästä ja kannet maalattua vaneria..
