    Descriptive info: Sharon's Bio.. Sharon Irving qualified with distinction as a beauty therapist and an aroma therapist in 1990 and has trained in Clarins and E’spa products and treatments.. Sharon’s career started as a beauty therapist with the prestigious Dalmahoy Health Club as well as running the beauty rooms at some of the top hair salons in Edinburgh.. Sharon then decided to concentrate on the make-up side of the industry.. This change led her to work with companies Guerlain and Kanebo and she quickly began to get a reputation for weddings and fashion work.. In 1998 Sharon became a freelance make-up artist to allow her to concentrate on weddings and editorial work.. Sharon’s work has featured in many publications including The Scotsman, Radio Times and Marie Claire.. But most notably she has worked for clients such as MTV, Jim Beam, RBS, L’Oreal Colour Trophy competition for the last ten  ...   Year” three years in a row, before moving to become a head stylist at Paterson SA.. It was while working as part of Paterson’s artistic team that Monica established her reputation in the industry.. Her work frequently appeared in publications such as Hairdressers’ Journal and Hair Magazine.. She was also involved for several years with the Degree Show for the internationally renowned Edinburgh College of Art.. Monica then went on to study Advanced Make-up Artistry at Clyde College, specialising in Film and TV Make-up.. Which lead to freelance work with The Scottish Opera, Radio Times and Spectrum Magazine.. While briefly working in South Africa Monica worked on many fashion shows, with top photographers and on music videos.. She also freelanced on the infamous finale show of America’s Next Top Model and was featured by Cosmopolitan Magazine.. On moving back to Edinburgh Monica formed Made-up with her friend Sharon..

  • Title: The Trial
    Descriptive info: Monica and Sharon have worked together for 10 years, therefore work really well as a team and know intuitively what styles for.. wedding hair.. and make-up will work together for each client.. In terms of organising the trial and timings for the wedding day with Made-up you only have to call one company and it's done.. Made-up recommend that you have the trial four to six weeks before the wedding, but for those travelling from abroad you can have it the week before the wedding.. The trial will take place in the beautiful Beehive salon in Out of the Blue.. Your appointment normally lasts up to an hour  ...   describe what looks you like.. Other useful things to bring along are a photo of your dress, any hair accessories/ flowers, your own mascara and finally a camera so that you can see later on screen just how the final look appears.. DIRECTIONS: Beehive is located inside Out of the Blue on Dalmeny Street, off Leith Walk.. There is free parking on the street.. Please look out for the blue flag outside the building.. Once inside, we are past the café and upstairs to the left.. Trials are £45 for hair and the same for make up: a total of £90.. Unfortunately, we can’t accept credit or debit cards..
