Continue on A701 for about 17 miles to Dumfries, pass Locharbriggs and Heathhall areas.. At the large roundabout (Dumfries By-pass), take the right hand lane signed A75 Stranraer.. Stay on A75 for about 6 miles, past two roundabouts.. At the third roundabout take a left for A711 Dalbeattie and Colvend Coast (also signposted for Garroch Industrial Estate).. Follow for half a mile or so, over a small roundabout, to a T-junction.. Turn right for Dalbeattie A711.. Follow A711 for about 11 miles to Dalbeattie.. In Dalbeattie, see sign to left at Town Hall  ...   Dumfries.. About 3 miles from Dumfries pass Shell Garage on left and take a Right round the roundabout , signposted A75 Stranraer.. Follow this route till further four roundabouts.. Take a left for A711 Dalbeattie and Colvend Coast and follow further directions as above.. Coming from Ireland and the West:.. Follow A75 for Dumfries and exit to right after Castle Douglas, signposted Dalbeattie.. Arriving at Dalbeattie, Colvend Coast road A710 is on the right at the approach to the town, or continue straight on for Town Centre, turning right at the clock tower.. Coming from the East:.. Join A75 at Gretna for Annan and Dumfries, then follow directions as for coming from the South above..
